Family day is primary school(1-4 class) traditional event. Students sing, dance or act. Families are dividend in groups. There are different workshops where everybody can attend.
Families actively participate in this day because it is fun to enjoy this with close ones.
The students fold a plane, design according to their creativity and put a name. While folding the student has to keep in mind what kind of shape they already know how to make. If the student can’t handle folding, the instructor or another student can help them. When designing with colors, students choose a color that characterizes their mood. While choosing a name the students have to keep in mind what word comes to their mind first.
The room must be dim. The teacher/game leader has a flashlight. Together they decide what kind of story is told. For example friends, school, hobbies. Whoever the teacher points the lamp at can tell a story. The teacher changes the direction of the lamp, sometimes slowly and sometimes fast. Everyone can contribute to telling the story. Everyone has a chance. It is important to listen to others carefully, then the story will be logical and exciting.
(The picture shows that the number was 2)
Students move around individually. The teacher calls out a number from time to time (eg 2, 4, 5, 10). According to the number, the students quickly get into a group and hug. The student, who does not fit into a group, can participate in the game from the sidelines. Lots of hugs bring joy.
